Virginia F Belford

Virginia F. Belford, 102, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Clifton Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. She was the wife of the late Melvin Belford and Donald R. Desjardins. Virginia was born in Fall River the daughter of the late George B. and Anita (Larocque) Johnston. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1938 and the Allen Business School in 1940. Mrs. Belford worked as a bookkeeper at the Empire Men’s Shop in Fall River for many years. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends over the years. Ginny is survived by several nieces and nephews: Kyle Platinco and her husband Matthew of St. Louis, MO; Dana and Kara Johnston, of Warren RI
