Victoria (Vicky) Ann Canario, 44, of New Bedford passed away on September 5, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief courageous battle with heart disease.
She was the loving mother of Tyler and Kyle Perez.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the beloved daughter of Janet (Perry) Reis and Step-daughter of Edwin Reis of Fairhaven. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Canario. Victoria is survived by her loving sister, Kim Chouinard and her husband Gary of New Bedford, brother, Steven Canario and his wife Jennifer of Dartmouth and brother, Randy Canario and his fiancé Heidi Dicorpo of Dartmouth. She is also survived by her aunt, Lois Perry of Dartmouth, several other aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and especially her dog, Chico.
Vicky attended Dartmouth Public Schools and graduated from Dartmouth High School. She was a gifted interior painter and decorator. She was also an avid watch expert and collector as well as an avid New England sports fan and especially loved the Patriots and Red Sox.
She was an amazing mother to her two sons, daughter, sister and friend to all many. She had a pure heart, infectious smile and made everyone who met her feel special. Her sense of humor and smile would light up the room and any gathering. She was unselfish and always thought of others until the end of her life. She was dedicated to making sure her sons had the best possible life and she was always there for those who needed her the most.
Calling hours are Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 5-7pm in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. All other arrangements are private.
