Dear family of Vera,
We never met your sister and aunt but we loved her and Stephen. Each month they would send a donation to our ministry with Pioneer Bible Translators and they would write us a note of encouragement. When Stephen passed away, she sent us his obituary from the newspaper. We truly felt like old friends.
Please know we are praying for all of you during this time of mourning.

Thank you so much! Every day My husband learns more about his Aunt and all she did for others. Her life's a legacy of how we all should live

It's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to the most amazing woman. Aunt Vera did so much for others; we believe she was the best example of christianity in all her donations to animal shelter, christian organizations, generous gifts to her family. Peter and I had wonderful visits with her over the past few years bringing our Mom, (her sister) Esther to visit with her. We know Esther enjoyed the time she got to spend with her and they look so much alike!!! They were adorable together always talking about who was going home to the Lord first. We love you Aunt Vera and we know in our hearts you're home with our Savior. We're thankful for the example of character you left behind. Peter always talks about you and how Aunt Vera helped the Kurczy's bringing groceries to their house in tough times when his Dad was sick. A funny memory which just goes to show you how much Aunt Vera loved her dog was when she carried her dog to our wedding like it was her baby (because that dog was her baby). The only regret Peter and I have is that our children didn't get to meet her. Someday we'll do our family trip in her memory with money she gifted us a couple years ago. We love you and are comforted knowing Jesus was smiling and we're sure welcomed her home with open arms. You were a shining light in the world and now your light shines brightly in the heavens. God bless us all with his amazing Grace.
