Tyler J. Lehane

Tyler J. Lehane, 27, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Alissa (McLaughlin) Lehane.

Tyler was born in Stoughton, MA, the son of Brian K. Lehane and April (Melito) Lehane.

His family moved to Dighton where he graduated from Dighton-Rehoboth High School in 2013. During his time there, Tyler participated in track, wrestling, and his all time favorite, football. He joined the Army in 2014 and served for three years. During that time he was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, Camp Casey, South Korea, and Fort Drum, New York. After being honorably discharged, he moved back to his home state of Massachusetts where he started his family with his wife. He was attending Southern New Hampshire University and working full time at IKEA. If Tyler wasn’t hiking with his family, he had a fishing pole in hand and was out on the water in his kayak. 

In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by: his wife, Alissa McLaughlin; two daughters, Nova and Reagan Lehane; one sister, Ashley Lehane; grandmothers, Kathleen Doherty and Joan Lehane, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Calling hours for Tyler will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Avenue, Taunton, MA. Military Honors promptly at 4:00 pm followed by reflections.
