Obituary

Thomas V. Meyers, 83, of Berkley, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the devoted and beloved husband of 23 years to Geraldine A. (Valentino) Meyers.

Tom was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Charles Meyers and Lucy (Campbell) Meyers. 

He was a Technical Sergeant proudly served in the Air Force for 21 years. After retirement from the military he continued his education and graduated from Stonehill College and then began his second career with Ocean Spray working in research and development. His hobbies included traveling in his motorhome to visit his Ohio family, camping, carpentry, reading books, watching movies, playing solitaire, and dining out with family and friends. Tom will be forever remembered for his love of all animals, his favorite cold beverage – Pepsi , and his proud heartfelt stories about his time in the Air Force specializing in nuclear weapons and EOD (bomb squad), and childhood memories about “Daddy" "Mother" and his 10 tall siblings. 

Tom is survived by his sons, Thomas, Charles, Andrew and Jerome and their families; His stepchildren, Terence Maquire, Leslie Hill, Denise Maquire, Jason Snyder, Stephanie Santos and their families; Loving grandfather and great-grandfather to many, loving uncle and friend to all, as well as his constant canine companion, Boston Terrier, Ayla.

Loving brother of the late Charles, Margie, Don, Kathleen, Billy, Dick, Jack, Mary Grace, Pat and Shirley.
