Thomas P. Pacheco

 Thomas P. Pacheco, 80, of South Dartmouth, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of fifty-nine years to Florence (St. Laurent) Pacheco. Thomas was born in Fall River the son of the late Francisco and Diamentina (Teixeira) Pacheco. He worked for Guimond’s Dairy, Mason’s Furniture, Avanti, Fibronics, ProSoft and Rite Solutions. Mr. Pacheco cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing softball, going on cruises, taking his corvette to car shows, hunting, gardening, and was known for having the greenest lawn in the neighborhood. 

Survivors besides his wife are his children: Tammy J. Pacheco of South Dartmouth; Karen A. Martinez and her husband Miguel of Berwick, ME; Jonathan T. Pacheco and his wife Caitlin of Hanover; six grandchildren: Erica, Brandon, Jason, Casey, Nolan and Wesley; a great grandson: Austin;  a sister: Constance Morrissette of East Providence; along with several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Susan Pacheco and brother of the late Edward Pacheco, Hilda O’Connell, Elizabeth Strongo; Dolores Andrade, James Pacheco and Leonard Pacheco. 

Calling Hours for Mr. Pacheco will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4-8pm in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River,. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 9am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover Street, Fall River.
