Obituary
Thomas M. O’Neill, age 59, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Born in Hyannis, he was the son of the late Michael O’Neill and Suzanne (Hanley) Cabral, and the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Santos) O’Neill of 27 years. Tom was an employment specialist here in Fall River and loved doing what he did for those who need his assistance. He was an avid fan of Tennessee Football, and the Boston Bruins, was a former drummer as well as an United States Army Veteran.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his son: Ian O’Neill, step children: Gena Choate, Chris Calvano, and Clinton Choate, sisters: Susan Gallant, Colleen Pais, and Stephanie Jesse, grandchildren: Tyler Ozug, and Cooper Choate and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Tom will take place on Friday, June 2, from 4-7 PM at the the Hathaway Home for Funerals 1813 Robeson St. Fall River. Burial is private.
