Obituary

 Roger R. St. Martin, 79, of Tiverton, passed away suddenly surrounded by his family, on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the devoted husband of forty-eight years to Gail J. (Moniz) St. Martin. Roger was born in Fall River the son of the late Edgar and Marion (Hubert) St. Martin. He was a graduate of Bristol County Agricultural High School class of 1960. Mr. St. Martin began working for General Physics in Newport as an acoustical engineer for twelve years and and then for Mason’s Furniture which merged to Cabot House in Fall River  for a combined thirty years, retiring in 2007. He was a former member of the Fall River Rod and Gun club and a current member of the Tiverton Rod and Gun Club for many years.  Roger was an avid model train collector and enthusiast. He loved to travel, take long rides on his motorcycle, listen to music, play his guitar and enjoy a good Martini. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. Survivors are three daughters: Theresa Green of Fall River; Carol St. Martin of Swansea; Jennifer H. Martin and her husband Brendan of Little Compton; a son: Roger St. Martin and his wife Karen of Swansea; ten grandchildren and one great grandson; two brothers: Edgar St. Martin of Newport News, VA;  and Paul St. Martin of Beaumont, CA. He was the brother of the late Ronald St. Martin. Calling hours for Roger will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 8:30am to 10am with a Funeral Service to follow at 10am in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River. (Facial coverings are required while in funeral home) Burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Fall River. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the Old Colony and Fall River Railroad Museum, 2 Water Street, Fall River, MA 02721
