Robert W. Gajoli, 71, of Berkley, died of cancer on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury.
He was the son of Robert R. Gajoli and the late Jeannette (Poirier) Gajoli.
Robert has resided in Berkley with his father and step-mother, Nancy B. Gajoli for the past thirteen years.
Besides his parents in Berkley he leaves a younger brother, Raymond D. Gajoli and his wife Elaine of Fall River.
Robert served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War, serving in combat in both Vietnam and Cambodia as a helicopter air crewman. He was an active member of the DAV Chapter 119 in Whitman, MA and the VFW Post 5663, Oxford, MA. Robert was also a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960 Device.
A graveside service with military honors will be held will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11am in Berkley Common Cemetery, North Main St., Berkley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend directly to the cemetery.
Mask wearing and social distancing will be required.
