Robert M. “Bob” Lefrancois, 88, of Fairhaven passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Hathaway Manor in New Bedford after a long battle with dementia.
He was the husband of Charlotte (Jeffrey) Lefrancois.
Born and raised in New Bedford, son of the late Alfred and Blanche (Magnet) Lefrancois, he lived in North Ft Myers, FL after retirement and came back to the area two years ago. Bob served in the
Air Force during the Korean War and later worked as an electronic technician at Raytheon for 17 years before retirement.
He was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church in Dartmouth and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife; two sons, Scott Lefrancois and his wife Donna of Berkley and Robert Lefrancois and his wife Kim of Franklin, PA; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Ponte of Fairhaven and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lefrancois was the brother of the late Alfred Lefrancois, Yvette Medeiros, Dot Jacobs and Ilene Williams.
In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Julie Billiart Church, Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11am. Arrangements are by the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. For memorial register please visit, www.hathawayfunerals.com.
