Obituary

Robert H. Nemet, 86, passed away on November 7, 2021. He was the husband of the late Joan (Bernard) Nemet.

Bob was born in Boston and was the son of the late Henry and Mary (Kirchdofer) Nemet.

Bob served his country in the US Army and was employed as a carpenter for many years until his retirement. He  also worked as a welder at the US Navy Fore River Shipyard in Quincy for many years.

Bob was known as the man who always had a project to work on and was a talented craftsman and mechanic. If Bob needed something and could build it rather than buy it, he would. Bob could always be counted on for a quick and witty joke and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends he met along the way.

He was the brother of the late Harriet Nemet, Henry Nemet, Russell Nemet and Richard Nemet.
