Ralph W. Potter Jr., age 75, of North Dighton passed away on Friday October 8th, 2021. He was the husband of Karin (Rose) Potter and son of the late Ralph W. Sr and Virginia (Higgins) Potter. Ralph was a Lineman for TMLP, a welder by trade and later was named “the happy guy” who never stopped talking and singing at Shaws in Taunton. He also enjoyed taking walks on West Island where he would collect stones and shells, fishing, boating and spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Ralph W. Potter III of Dighton, and Jeffrey E. Potter (wife Amy) of Dighton, grandchildren: Delaney and William, siblings: Virginia Latham (husband Russell) of Rehoboth, Sandra O’Connor (husband Roger) of Norton and Thomas Potter (wife Michelle) of West Island, Fairhaven and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will take place on October 22nd, at the Dighton Community Church 2036 Elm St. Dighton, MA 02715. His funeral arrangements are under the care of Hathaway Community Home for funerals 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimers Association.
