Pauline M. (Bienvenue) Heroux passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Leo J. Heroux of Somerset.
Pauline was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late Arthur Bienvenue and Irene (Giroux) Bienvenue.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Somerset. Pauline was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union for several decades. Widowed at age 47, she raised four children in Somerset and resided at Catholic Memorial Nursing home the last five years.
She is survived by her four children, Robert A. Heroux of Bonita Springs, FL, David L. Heroux of Seekonk, MA, Douglas W. Heroux of Nokomis, FL, and Monique P. Sylvia of Somerset, MA, her brother Arthur E. Bienvenue of Dartmouth MA, her sister Christine Shea of California, her grandchildren Christopher Heroux of Dighton MA, Katie Heroux of Aiken SC, Lee Heroux of Swansea MA, Nathan Heroux of Smithfield RI , Meghan Costic of Cumberland RI, Nicole Heroux of San Antonio TX, Adam Heroux of Durham NC and Amanda Sylvia of Somerset MA; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the half-sister of the late Jacqueline O'Neil of Somerset and the late Lorraine Bouchard of Tiverton, RI.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren and watching the Boston Red Sox.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 1-4pm in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset.
Mask wearing and social distancing will be required at the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial and Internment will be held privately.
