Paul W. Ladd, 72, of Mansfield, MA passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital, Brockton, MA on Saturday, October 2, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Bowser) Ladd.
Born February 14, 1949 in Boston, MA he is the son of the late Willard Ladd and Gaetana (Candella) Ladd.
Paul Graduated from Roslindale High School in 1966. He lived and worked in the Boston area as a taxi driver well before Uber. Paul was very enthusiastic about fireworks and showed up every 4th of July. Even the police enjoyed the show before asking him to tone down the noise. Paul loved to cook for everyone, especially his children and grandchildren. His gardening abilities were unsurpassed. The neighbors enjoyed the variety of vegetables and flowers. He thrived being in proximity to his many friends and family until 1995 when he brought his family to Foxboro. There, he extended his family to include volunteering at local cable TV. Paul was instrumental in founding Hockey and Lacrosse in Foxboro. There, he produced and assisted with sports, including football, concerts on the common and a variety of other projects. He gathered many other participants to assist in collecting tickets at Foxboro Stadium for local Booster Clubs. Paul was also active in Free Masonry and Shriners.
Paul is survived by his 3 children, Brendon and his wife Lyndsey of Foxborugh, MA, Owen and his wife Kelly of Haverhill and his daughter, Lauren Ladd of Taunton, MA. Also, his Grandchildren, Trent Rennie of Taunton, MA, Wesley and Iain Ladd of Foxborough, MA. Pall also leaves behind his devoted sisters, Linda Ladd and her husband Bill Kowalczyk of Woburn, MA and Janet Ladd-Ryan of Dedham, MA
