Norman Brodeur

Fall River - Norman Brodeur, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late George and Dora (LePage) Brodeur, and former husband of Shirley (Thibault) Brodeur and Katherine Brodeur. Norman grew up in Fall River, and was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1955. He was a printer for over 50 years at Modern Printing, a member of the Marine Corp Reserves, Knights of Columbus Fr. Joseph Council # 4753 of Tiverton, and past President of the NAFCA Quahog chapter 48 of Newport. Norman enjoyed spending time with family and playing cards, especially cribbage with his dear friend Lorraine Boulay.  He also enjoyed camping, cooking, collecting cook books and was an avid New England Sports Team fan.

He is survived by his children: Diane Pacheco (husband Michael) of Berkley, Norman Brodeur Jr., brother: Raymond Brodeur (wife Jackie) of Tiverton, grandchildren: Michael Jr. (wife Michelle), and Melissa Fonseca (husband Brian), great grandchildren: Dylan, Alison, and Tyler and several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Robert James Brodeur, and brother of the late George Brodeur. 

His family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 30th, from 8:30– 9:30 AM at the Hathaway Home for Funerals 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM at Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
