FALL RIVER—It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Myles Real Araujo. Myles passed away on May 10, 2022 after a short illness with his family by his side. He was born and grew up in Taunton and was the son of the late Patricia (Samson) Araujo.
Myles was a talented auto mechanic and was always keeping busy working on his cars and other projects. He had a love for the outdoors especially walking in the Freetown State Forest with his grandsons and always found peace there as well as kayaking with a fishing pole in his hand as he fished the local lakes and ponds. Myles loved hockey and cheering on his Boston Bruins. He was well known for his love of animals, especially his late beloved dog Rasta. Myles will be remembered by his family and many lifelong friends as a kind and generous man who was so proud of everything his daughter Haley and grandsons have continued to accomplish.
He is survived by his daughter Haley Foley of Fall River and siblings, Susan Garant of Fall River, Denise Boarman and her husband John of North Dighton, Michelle Thurman and her husband Mitchell of Portsmouth and Kelley Araujo of Plymouth; grandchildren, Jace and Jaxon, several nieces and nephews and countless lifelong friends.
