I came to Fall River in 1964 to open a Bradlees store on Quarry St(?). I met a lot of good people there. One of them was Mike Shaughnessy. Over the years Mike and I would run into each other as our careers intertwined. Yesterday, as I do now and then with old friends, I looked up Mike to see what was going on with him and found his obit. It struck me hard. I really like Mike, he was a very good man. Sorry for his loss, sorry for his wife and family. Sorry for all his friends. Lots of good memories.

Dearest Millie & family,
I am so sorry for your loss! Mike was a friendly gentleman and always a pleasure when we spoke. Met Mike numerous times in the doctors office and while we were sitting there, with faces fully masked, we looked at each other and laughed, I said Mike is that you, he said yes and is that you Mickey, we both laughed. Im so sorry I was unable to attend any of the services, but Millie I did have you and all of the family in my thoughts and prayers.
