Linda L. (Robertson) McAloon, 73, of East Taunton passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Daniel McAloon Sr.
Born in Taunton; Linda dedicated her nursing career to caring for the elderly. She worked at Longmeadow Nursing Home and the Somerset Adult Day Care Center for many years. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in East Taunton where she was a Eucharistic Minister and involved with the Shall Ministry.
Linda was happiest when she was camping and reading a book by the Cape Cod Canal, spending time with her grandchildren and knitting. She was a member of the New England Vikings Motorcycle Club.
In addition to her husband Daniel, Linda leaves behind her two sons; Daniel McAloon Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Taunton, and David McAloon and his wife Becky of Berkley, her daughter; Amy Barton and her husband Peter of East Taunton. She was the proud Grammie of eight grandchildren; Madison McAloon, McKenzie McAloon, Morgan McAloon, Tyler McAloon, Hanna McAloon, Joshua Barton, Jillian Barton, and Emmie Barton. She also leaves behind her sister; Judy Bullock and her husband Tom of Raynham. She was predeceased by her sister Joanne Faria.
Calling Hours for Linda will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 4-7pm in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Avenue, Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions; all other services are being held privately. Holy Family Parish will stream Linda’s Mass of Christian Burial directly on their Facebook page Saturday morning at 10am.
