Karen Lynn Isabel

 Karen Lynn Isabel, 57, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at home with her family. She was the wife of twenty-one years to James W. Stott. Karen was born in Fall River the daughter of Phyllis (Marango) Isabel of Swansea and the late Leon Isabel. Karen was a graduate of Diman Regional Technical Vocation High School class of 1983 and earned her Appraiser License from Northeastern University. She worked for her family business Isabel Auto body and Karen’s Collision for over over forty years. Karen enjoyed the time she spent on her boat Solemates with her husband, taking an occasional trip to the casino, fishing and relaxing at fogland beach. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. Survivors besides her husband are her daughters: Alexa L. Isabel of Fall River; Kelsey K. Stott of Fall River; three sons: James W. Stott of North Smithfield; Phillip L. Stott and his wife Jennifer of Somerset; Matthew K. Stott of Johnstown, PA; five grandchildren: Julian, Lucas, Greyson. Isabel and Gabrielle; four sisters: Lisa Schecter and her husband Robert of Swansea; Renee Isabel of Fall River; Shelly Ponte and her husband Steven of Kentucky; Jackie Boutin of Fall River;  a brother: Bruce Isabel and his wife Joanne of Somerset; along with many nieces and nephews. Calling Hours for Karen will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 4-7pm with a Memorial Service following on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11am in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
