Joseph A. Cabral, 53, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the son of Luis and Maria (Lopes) Cabral of Attleboro. He is survived by his wife Michelle Temido-Cabral of twenty-two years, his daughter Micheala H. Cabral and son John P. Benevides. He worked for Able Restoration as a carpenter for over fifteen years. Joe’s hobbies were carpentry, kayaking, fishing, and spending time with his family. Survivors besides his wife, parents and children are a sister Ana Aguiar and her husband Gilberto of Pawtucket; a brother Luis A. Cabral and his wife Sodarina of Attleboro; father and mother in law: Paul and Fernanda Temido of Somerset; sister in laws: Cyndi Cyr and her husband Michael of Taunton;  Melisa Temido-Roy and her husband Shannon of Berkley; nephews: Kenny Aguiar and Tyler Cabral, nieces: Sabrina Aguiar and her wife Veronica, and Nikita Cabral and a great nephew: Declan Aguiar. Calling Hours will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 4-7pm in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 9am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint John of God Church, 996 Brayton Ave., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
