Obituary
Joan Fontaine, 76, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 2, 2023 in the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI. She is the daughter of the late William N. Fontaine and the Emma (St. George) Fontaine.
Joan graduated from Attleboro High School class of 1965 . After her graduation, she went on to work for Bruce manufacturing/Guyot Bros. for over 43 years until her retirement. She loved working on genealogy- the Fontaine and St. George family tree. Joan enjoyed word searches, crosswords and 1000 piece puzzles. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching her favorite teams, The New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
Joan leaves behind her two brothers; Ronald Fontaine of Attleboro and Robert Fontaine of Attleboro. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the Foley Hathaway Funeral Home 126 South Main St. Attleboro, MA 02703. Burial will immediately follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Attleboro.
