Obituary
Jane E. Gonzalski Wyatt, age 70, of Westport, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Alice (Smith) Gonzalski and beloved wife of George E. Wyatt. George and Jane enjoyed 29 glorious years together as best friends, and were married for 19 years. Jane was a 3rd Grade teacher for Dighton Elementary School for over 35 years. She loved to cook, travel, plan parties, attempt magic tricks and enjoy wine with her friends. Above all else, she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her siblings: Linda Ferreira (husband Tom), Stephen Gonzalski (wife Susan) and Thomas Gonzalski (wife Diane) and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Jane will take place on Tuesday, May 30th from 4-7 PM at the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 31st at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 14 St. Mary’s Square, Taunton. All to go directly to church. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
