Isabelle M. Rondeau

Obituary

Isabelle M. Rondeau, 72, passed away at home on June 21, 2022.

Isabelle was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Leamy and Eleanor M. (Ariel) Leamy.

Mrs. Rondeau was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and Diman Nursing School. She went on to hold a long and rewarding career as an LPN for many local nursing homes. Isabelle dedicated her life to caring for others, especially her beloved family and truly took the time to appreciate the little things that life had to offer. Known by all as a lover of music especially Elvis Presley, she will be fondly remembered for her sharp wit and never hold back attitude. 

Isabelle is survived by her children, Robert Carvalho of Westport, Ronald Carvalho and his wife Dana of CO, Erik Rondeau and his wife Lisa of Coventry, RI and Stephanie Rondeau of Tiverton; siblings, Jack Leamy and his wife Nancy of Westbrook, CT and Elizabeth Silvia and her husband Donald of Rehoboth; grandson, Thomas Carvalho and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, David, Barbara and Eleanor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 9-10am in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River.

Prayers and words of remembrance will begin at 10am.

Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
