Obituary

Hilda Jean McDonald, 76, passed away on September 7, 2020 with her loved ones at home. Hilda was born on August 29, 1944 in Shreveport, LA to the late Esther Brown.

Hilda was employed in the Boston area as a CNA for many years until her retirement and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro. Hilda was incredibly skilled at sewing and crafting and could make just about anything and her loved ones always looked forward to her special “nana made” gifts. Hilda will be remembered as a tenacious, fierce, independent, strong-willed, loving, crafty, caring, and feisty woman who cared deeply for those around her.

She is survived by her children, Jean Tibbets of Biddeford, ME, Debra McDonald of Attleboro and Henry McDonald and his wife Lisa of Peabody; grandchildren, Kristinia, Mark Jr, Shareece, Dyllon-Joseph, Henry Robert and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Tianna, Aariana, Camden, Kyle Jr and Brayden and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Joseph McDonald, Jr.
