Having lived next door to Henry on Spruce Street in Somerset for so many years, I came to know him, admire him and respect him as a most gentle, kind, and compassionate person. I loved hearing the gentle tapping of his hammer while he worked on special furniture masterpieces in his open-doored garage on summer evenings. Yes, he considered every job he did as a masterpiece which HAD to be perfect. I assisted him in delivering many items of furniture, all masterpieces, over the years to his always very satisfied customers; I personally witnessed the joy and total satisfaction of his customers when they saw Henry's mastery. Anyone who knew him realized he was, indeed, a pure artist with amazing skills.
Dianne and I offer our sincere condolences to his wonderful children, Jeffrey and Deborah, and to all of his family.
