My deepest condolences for your loss. I haven’t seen Mrs Tavares in about 50 years but will always remember her as the very fun and beautiful mother of my very best friend.

I’ll miss you and love you always. Thank you for being so kind, loving, funny and warm. You always told the best stories. When I was a young girl, I loved going to your house , eating your brownies and playing cards. You are one of a kind and we will miss you sorely. Until we meet again in heaven ♥️ enjoy your sisters and husband. I’m sure it’s beautiful up there.

Mom, the kindest, mostly generous lady ever. She always had a smile and stayed positive citing One Day at a Time whenever I’d get going on multiple discussions. She kept me grounded and was always entertaining with her stories of growing up during the Great Depression and her ballroom escapades. The last of the Pitera girls. I’m sure they are all having a great time in heaven. Until we meet again, I love you with all my heart forever, Mom.
