Obituary

TAUNTON- Fernando E. Ferreira, 67, passed away on May 4, 2022 at UMASS Memorial in Leominster. Fernando was born in Medeira, Portugal and spent most of his life in Taunton. He was the son of the late Manuel Ferreira and Maria Alice (Theodore) Ferreira.

Fernando was employed at Amorim Auto Sales in Taunton for many years and was well known as a talented professional in the auto detailing industry. He also worked locally as a property manager. Fernando has a passion for anything automotive and was always working on cars and keeping busy. He enjoyed the look of wonder on children’s faces as he performed his magic tricks and in his younger years Fernando created and starred in many of his own homemade action films. A man who took the time to appreciate the little things that life had to offer, Fernando will be remembered with only good memories by his family and many lifelong friends.

He is survived by his children, Christina Ferreira and her husband Eddie Machado, Michael A. Ferreira and his wife Sasha and Eddie Westgate, and grandchildren, Brock, Phoenix and Taylor all of Taunton.
