Obituary

Elizabeth (Suart) Leite, age 91, of Swansea, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma (Young) Suart and beloved wife of the late George P. Leite. Elizabeth had many jobs but the one she was most proud of was being a nurse’s aide and caring for the elderly. She enjoyed going on vacations, tellings stories about the “old days,” going to church, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter: Gayle Leite, brother: William Suart, grandchildren: Ronald, Gary Jr., Vicki, Kyle, Joel, GregoryM., and Stewart, great grandchildren: Joshua, Kristen, Savannah, Kayla, Brady, Kirsten, Lilyanah, Jaymes and Karysa, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late: George, Gary, and Gregory Leite, Mary Ann Cambra, sister of the late Dotty Holmes and Mildred, and grandmother of the late Tracy.

Calling hours for Elizabeth will take place on Monday August 8th, from 4-7 PM at the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals 900 Buffinton St. Somerset. Her funeral will take place on Tuesday August 9th, 8:30AM at the funeral home and 9:30 AM at St. Dominic’s 1277 Grand Army Highway, Swansea. Burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.
