Eleanor L. (Murphy) Woodward, 96, of Attleboro passed away peacefully on June, 02, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley A. Woodward.
Born in Mansfield; Eleanor was the daughter of the late Frederick and Madeline (Meier) Murphy. A graduate of Mansfield High School Class of 1942, Eleanor went on to work as a book keeper for Reynolds and Markman, and Jostens. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church of Attleboro.
Eleanor enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, cooking. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Mrs. Woodward leaves behind her children; Woody Woodward and his wife Karen, Diane Shockro and her husband John, Stanley Woodward, and Scott Woodward, grandchildren; Jeremy, William, Stanley, Kenny and Laura, and seven great-grandchildren, also her cousin Pamela Cosby. She was predeceased by her sister Madeline Rude of Moline, Illinois and her grandson Justin Shockro.
All services are being held privately.
