Edward R. Harrington

Obituary

Edward R. Harrington, 73, formally of Taunton, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022.

Mr. Harrington was born in Bluefield, W. Virginia. The son of the late Raymond Harrington and D Jean (Russell) Harrington.

Edward was an honorary lifetime member of the Seekonk Council 5108 Knights of Columbus, as well as a proud supporter of the American Legion Post 103. He was a participant in the Special Olympics of Taunton and the MAC Rockets of Maine.  Known by friends and loved ones as “Skip”, he was an avid Elvis fan. He loved Race cars and New England sports.

Edward is survived by: Sister M. Joyce and Brother in Law Joseph Medeiros; Nieces Jessica Medeiros and JoEllen Knapp;  Nephews Frankie Medeiros and Joseph Anthony Medeiros; Great Nephew Brady Knapp; and several cousins and extended family. 

Calling hours for Mr. Harrington will be held on Tuesday, June 14, from 10:30 a.m - 11:30 a.m at Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Avenue, Taunton, MA followed by a burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
