Obituary

Earl B. Stone, 89, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on October 11, 2021. He was the husband of the late Lois (Fay) Stone.

Mr. Stone was born in Rochester, NH and was the son of the late Rex L. Stone and Annie (Blake) Stone. Earl served his country with honor and distinction in both the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, retiring with the rank of Master Sargent and the US Customs and Boarder Protection Agency in drug enforcement. Always a man up for adventure, Mr. Stone also served as a United States Air Marshall, protecting the skies on countless flights from the United States over the years. Earl had a passion for target shooting in his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family at the range and was also an eclectic reader. Most of all, Earl was a Patriot and true family man and he cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
 
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Stone and his wife Jacqueline of Berkley, Cathy Denman and her husband Lee of NY and Carol Farmer and her husband Wayne of MD; grandchildren, Michael Farmer, Lee Denman, Jr, Jennifer Farmer-Rinker, and Christopher Farmer; great grandchildren, David, Griffin, Sarah and Riley and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was the brother of the late Rex L Stone, Jr, and grandfather of the late Sarah Farmer.
 
A graveside service with military honors will be held in Maine, where Earl will be laid to rest with his wife and family.
 
A celebration of his life will be held in Berkley, MA at a later date.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations in honor of Earl Stone to be made to Myricks United Methodist Church, 93 Myricks St. Berkley, MA. 02779
