E. Raymond Labouliere, age 80, passed away on Friday May 6, 2022. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Elzear J., and Eva (Bernier) Labouliere and the devoted husband of Natalie (Medeiros) Labouliere of 60 years. Ray was a United State Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and a Mechanical Designer of lighting fixtures. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling and camping across the country, playing Uno, and spending time with family. Above all else the sun rose and set on his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved being the best husband, dad, grandfather, brother, and uncle anyone could ask for.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Susan Perry (husband Kevin), Christine Dufour (husband Michael), and Kathleen Labouliere (partner James Mello), sisters: Paulette Costa, and Jackie Coppinger, grandchildren: Kelsey, Jordan, Rachel, Nicole, and Jared, great grandchildren: Leah and Jon, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Ray will take place from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, May 11, at the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset.
His funeral will take place on Thursday, May 12, 9 AM from the funeral home with a 10 am Mass of Christian burial at St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 GAR Highway, Swansea.
Interment in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery.
