Donna Jean (Arenburg) Hebert, 66, of Attleboro passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Saturday, July 17, 2021.
Donna was born October 20, 1954 in Attleboro to the late Charles R. Arenburg and Joan Arenburg Dupre. She is survived by her mother and step father, Eugene J. Dupre of Attleboro.
Donna is also survived by six siblings, Cindy Arenburg Wirta of Wichendon, MA and her companion Steven Allen, Kristi Arenburg Hebert and her husband Michael of Concord, NH, Kathi Arenburg Harlow and her husband Thomas of Attleboro, Glen C. Arenburg and his wife Sophie of South Attleboro, Jo-Ann Arenburg McKay and her husband David of Attleboro and Heidi Arenburg Dowdall and her husband Harry of Attleboro. Vicki Denise Arenburg predeceased her in 1958 at the age of two.
Donna was married in 1976 to the late Nelson P. Hebert, who passed away in 2015. Her surviving children are Adam M. Hebert and his wife Mijin of Charlotte, NC and their children, Noah and Joseph and Emily Diaz and her husband Gabriel of Tucson, AZ and their three children, Alana, Augustus and Isabelle. Having come from a large family, she also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Donna was educated in Attleboro primary schools, graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in 1972 and graduated from Framingham State College in 1976. She worked for L.G. Balfour and was one of the employees who decided to move to Austin, TX with the company about 20 years ago. In all she worked with the company for 35 years as the lead inspector in the ring department. When she became ill, she returned to Attleboro in 2020, to be cared for by her loving family.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, TV movies and following the Red Sox and watching NFL Football. She was a faithful communicant of Fairview Baptist Church in Austin, TX and participated in many functions with her many church friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Donna on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 11AM in the Cook-Foley-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 So.
