Dianne A (Dusoe) O’Neill entered into rest peacefully on December 30th, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Dianne was a devoted wife and mother who joined her beloved husband Dennis and daughter Shannon who preceded her into eternal grace.
Dianne leaves behind her two sons Timothy O’Neill of Dennis port Massachusetts, and Terence O’Neill of Eastham Mass. She also leaves her beloved dog Dublin, her most loyal companion over the past few years.
Dianne was born the third child of Harold J. Dusoe and Joan M (Coogan) Dusoe. Born June 18th, 1952. Dianne was a bright quick-witted Irishwoman with sparkling blue eyes who could always light up a room with her laughter and kindness. She was creative, selfless and a very determined force steadfast to her beliefs. Her sense of humor was unmatched, and she brought joy and happiness into all she did. Dianne’s courage to face adversity was remarkable.
A graduate of BMC Durfee High School class of 1970 she graduated with honors and in the top ten of her class. She furthered her education at the then Southeastern Massachusetts University in Dartmouth as President of her sorority graduating in 1974. Following graduation, she moved to Cape Cod MA. to begin her career as an English teacher. There she met her husband Dennis and settled down In Eastham Mass to raise their family. Dianne proved to be a devoted daughter and mom, cherished sister and a loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews.
Her family skied, camped, biked, surfed and fished to name only a few of their adventures. She was a gentle and patient teacher who always kept a warm and busy kitchen sharing all her culinary skills. Teaching and loving those around her while creating memories which they will cherish forever.
During this time Dianne took on a new challenge and entered the field of real estate and became an extraordinarily successful agent and broker on the lower cape. She pursued this career enthusiastically and continuously took newer courses to enhance her expertise. Dianne was a member of the Massachusetts Board of Realtors.
Dianne and her daughter also created and operated The Four-Leaf Clover Computer Services following their certification in Microsoft.
Dianne is survived by her siblings Dr. Michael E. Dusoe PHD, (wife Tammie) Sandy, Utah, Joanne M. Marshall (Joseph) of Fall River, MA., Mary Beth Suneson, Fall River MA. Nancy Norwood (Thomas) Fall River, MA., and Sharlene Swainamer, MA. as well as by her two devoted sons and large loving extended family.
Dianne was recently preceded in death by her brother Paul Charles Dusoe.
The family would like to thank Accent Hospice and Home Care for the excellent care Dianne received in her last days.
At Dianne’s request a Celebration of life and Mass will be held later to be announced by Hathaway home for Funerals.
