Hello Friends and family. My tribute and appreciation of David begins at 12 Baptist St. Mattapoisett. The place where generations of family and friends gathered together to enjoy each other’s company. If you are reading this, I am sure you will agree that David, in many ways, was the hub from which the home revolved. He was very skilled. And some of my earliest memories are of David and my grandfather Mike Brito working together to build or install or repair something at one of the family homes in Mattapoisett. As the years ticked away his care taking talents expanded to those individuals closest to him, especially his dear mother and wonderful brother Mudgie. I believe their long lives were made more comfortable due to his kind and unflagging attention. David accepted these roles like he did everything: in a calm, gentle and unassuming way. What a unique and awesome combination of skills! David will be missed. But his spirit will live on, especially on 12 Baptist St.

To David’s family.
I would like to express my sadness and condolences to you. I graduated in the same Old Rochester Class with David. It certainly was a great class (‘66) to be part of. I enjoyed seeing David at our class reunions.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you,

Nicky Pina

For my life long friend David, you will always be loved and remembered for your sweet smile, kindness and thoughtfulness throughout the decades. I will always remember the fun times we shared from our teenage through adulthood years. Rest in peace dear friend. Until we meet again, keep the light shining...
