Obituary

David Benevides Jr., 35, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. “Davie” did not stay here on Earth for very long yet his spirit will always be with us. He was the most beautiful of souls, always brave, kind hearted and self- sacrificing. He endured so much for so long. He loved people especially his younger sisters and brother. Davie loved striking up a conversation of all sorts and to many walks of life. He could race anything be it cars motorcycles or racing through life. He loved to play baseball and football through his adolescence, later settling with watching his favorite New England sports teams. Davie was fond of fishing of all sorts and loved to be near or on the water.

He was a huge fan of music and especially liked listening to classic rock and alternative rock bands. Many times, he displayed his excitement for certain songs in a fist pumping, air guitar, palm drumming way! Davie absolutely loved family gatherings and a good party be it anywhere and anytime! He had an eclectic collection of friends and associates throughout his life.

Davie posthumously wish is for people to accept those who are unique and not to be fearful of differences and instead show bravery by offering love and kindness.

He is now soaring with the angels free from all pain and judgement and finally at peace. Davie will be joining his Nana, Papa, Tia, VoVo and Voo Voo, Uncle Benny and Uncle Johnny for a fun party reunited!
