Charlotte G. Carr

Charlotte G. (Lemieux) Carr, 97 of Taunton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, February 3, 2023 at LifeCare of Raynham.  She was the wife of the late John Santos and the late Albert M. Carr.

Born in Taunton, Charlotte was the daughter of the late John C. and the late Millie M. (Jones) Lemieux.  She graduated from Taunton High School in 1944.  After graduation, she went on to work for the Ad-A-Day and Car Cross Companies of Taunton for 45 years until her retirement in 1995.  She also served on their Board of Directors.

Charlotte was a Communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going on day trips to local casinos and collecting sea glass.  She volunteered at the Council on Aging while also serving on their Board of Directors.

Charlotte leaves behind her daughter, Pam (Santos) Terra and her husband Paul of Pocasset, her granddaughter, Tracey Vasile of Foxboro, and one amazing great granddaughter, Julia Metivier of Columbia, SC.  She is also survived by her niece and several nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Leland R. Lemieux, Charles J. Lemieux, John M. Lemieux, and her sister, Violet McCarron.

The family would like to extend their very heartfelt appreciation for the incredible care and affection that Charlotte received during her short time at LifeCare and that they received during their visits and her final hours.  Each member of the staff truly has a heart of gold and, for that, the family will always be grateful.
