Obituary

Arthur “Roger” King, 88, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2020 at Grace Barker Nursing Home in Warren, RI. He was the husband of the late Lucille P. (Frechette) King.

Roger was born in Fall River and was the son of the late Fred King and Muriel (Rogers) King.

Roger served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean War, and was employed as a bonder at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for many years until his retirement. He was an avid target shooter and firearms enthusiast and was a member of the Somerset Rod and Gun and Taunton Rifle and Pistol Clubs. Roger also volunteered locally with the Somerset Historical Society. He enjoyed watching local sporting events and watching his grandchildren play Little League and teaching them to target shoot. Roger was a quiet but witty man with a sharp sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by his family and many lifelong friends.

The family would like to acknowledge the kind and compassionate care provided to Roger by the staff of Grace Barker Nursing Home.
