Arleen Rose Pimenta, 68, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Arleen was born in Taunton, the daughter of James Pimenta and Irene (Macedo) Johnson. She graduated from Bridgewater State College with a Bachelor degree in Arts in 1974. She enjoyed crafts, the accordion and piano. She also enjoyed playing cards and was fascinated by Native American culture. Arleen was a loving mother and caregiver who was devoted to her family and friends.
She was the mother of Christopher Brillo and Alicia (Brillo) O’Connell. She was the sister of Janice Brown and James Pimenta. Arleen will also be forever remembered by her nieces Angela Pelletier and Jennifer Magina and their children Amie and Koby Souza, Jada and Jasmine Lucier, Aliyah Magina and by her best friend Karen Duke.
Calling hours for Arleen Pimenta will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 9:30am-11:00am at Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton followed by a burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St., Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. (Facial coverings and social distancing are required at the funeral and cemetery at all times).
