Alice (Marks) Pacheco, of Acushnet passed away peacefully Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Alden Court in Fairhaven with her family by her side. She was the widow of the late Antone Pacheco.
Born and raised in Acushnet, daughter of the late Louis and Georgianna (Mello) Marks, she lived in the town all of her life. She had worked at Eastern Sportswear and later at Stop & Shop.
Alice enjoyed dancing, sewing, reading, traveling, eating out, going to casinos and spending time with family and her many friends. She enjoyed a full life and was always willing to help others.
She is survived by her daughters, Anne Pacheco and her husband Bruce Delano of Fairhaven and Diane Fernandes and her husband John of Rochester; her son, Stephen Pacheco of Acushnet; former daughter in law, Nancy Hebert and her husband Jim of Dartmouth; a grandson, Adam Hebert of Louisville, TX; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Alice was the sister of the late Anthony Marks of Canton, OH.
Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8pm in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 14, 2020 at 9am in St. Mary’s Church, Fairhaven followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven.
