Obituary

Albert E. “Al” LePage, 75, of Fairhaven passed away peacefully at home Saturday, November 14, 2020.  He was the loving husband of 53 years to Lorraine M. (Pereira) LePage.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Joseph H.E. and Josephine F. (Motyl) LePage, he grew up in Acushnet and settled in Fairhaven 53 years ago.  He was a graduate of New Bedford High School and had worked at Revere Copper and Brass, Titleist, C. & J. Construction and after retirement, Southeastern Fire Equipment.

Al was a member of the Long Plain Baptist Church in Acushnet. He enjoyed doing yard work, spending time with family and friends and quahoging.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine;  a son, George R. LePage of Summerville, SC;  his mother in law, Marie J. Pereira of Fairhaven;  two grandchildren;  four great grandchildren;  two sisters, Gloria J. Britton and her husband Harold of Acushnet and Claudia Mello and her husband Donald of FL and several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by a Sister-in-law Sandra Souza and her husband Hank of Rochester and many dear friends.  Al was the brother of the late Jeannette King.
