Theresa E. (Boucher) Joyal, 90, of North Attleboro, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 201,7 with members of her family with her at the Golden Living Center, in Attleboro, MA. She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Joyal.
Theresa was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Ayotte) Boucher. She graduated from East High School in Pawtucket, RI. She and her husband, Arthur, owned Jacqueline's Restaurant, in Pawtucket, RI, until it was sold in 1975. She worked as a kitchen, supervisor for Landmark Hospital until her retirement in 2011. She enjoyed raising her family, spending time making memories with her grandchildren, boating and fishing with her husband, gardening and cooking,
Theresa was the mother of 6: Susan Bliven and her husband Gary of Franklin, the late Jacqueline Joyal, Raymond Joyal of Loudonville, Ohio, Claire Mercure of North Smithfield, Nancy Crowell and her husband, Harold of North Attleboro and Janine Hughey and her husband, Jeffrey of Yorktown, Virginia; Nineteen grandchildren; they are Jamie, David, Corrie, Hannah, Jonathan, Suzannah, Daniel, Peter, Sarah, Rebekah, Michael, Jason, Evan, Hilary, Jessica, Cortney, Meagan, Tyler, and Amber, and 23 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings.
A Memorial service for Theresa will be held on Thursday, March 29, at 11 am, at the Plainville Baptist Church, 62 South Street, Plainville, Mass. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
