Roger M. Robillard

Roger M. Robillard, 88, of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at the Clifton Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Rita A. (Bergeron) Robillard.

Roger was born in Fall River, the son of the late Raymond and Hermina (Bernier) Robillard. He was a graduate Msgr. Prevost High School, and and earned his Bachelors degree from Northeastern University. Mr. Robillard served his country during the Korean War with the United States Navy. Roger worked as an electrical engineer for the Mitre Corp in Burlington for many years. He was a communicant of Saint Louis de France Church. Roger was a longtime member of Southend Athletic Club of Fall River.

Survivors are two daughters: Donna-Marie O'Brien and her husband Robert of Warwick; Diane Durand of Dighton; three sons: Dennis N. Robillard and his wife Nancy of Somerset; Richard A. Robillard and his wife Jean of Somerset; and Brian R. Robillard and his wife Colleen of Swansea; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by several brothers and sisters.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, from 9am to 10:30am, in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11am, in Saint Louis de France Church, 56 Buffington Street, Swansea, burial to follow with Military Honors in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Somerset.
