Raymond E. Lague, II, 76, of South Dartmouth, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital, in New Bedford, after a period of declining health.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Raymond E. Lague and Viola I. (Provencher) Lapre, he grew up in Acushnet, and lived in New York City prior to returning to the area in 1980 and settling in South Dartmouth ten years ago.
Ray was an accomplished artist and a self employed antique home restorer. He was meticulous and extremely thorough, and is responsible for numerous restoration projects over the years.
He is survived by a sister, Janine M. Carreau of New Bedford and her children April C. Carreau of Brewster and Nicholas D. Carreau of New Bedford.

Private services are under the direction of the Donaghy Funeral Home, 465 County St., New Bedford.
