Patricia A. "Pat" Carlon, 81, died on Friday, June 1, 2018. She was the loving wife of Merle F. Carlon with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Pat opened and directed the ABC Preschool located at the First Baptist Church of Attleboro for over twenty years. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist and served as Sunday School Superintendent, taught Sunday school, and sat on numerous boards and committees. Pat was deeply devoted to her faith and family; she enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, fishing and was an avid New England Patriots fan. She was a dedicated and talented quilter, serving as President and member of the Linsey Woolsey Quilting Guild, giving countless hours to knitting newborn hats for Sturdy Memorial Hospital, creating quilts for foster children, and wounded soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Her family wishes to acknowledge the kind and compassionate care provided to Pat by the staff of the Life Care Center of Attleboro.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters, Brenda L. Colvin and her husband Steve of N. Attleboro, Donna M. Smith and her husband Pete and Pamela L. St. Don and her husband Kenneth, all of Attleboro, Robin T. Gauthier and her husband Roger of Virginia Beach, VA, brothers Brian Lizotte of NV and Edward Lizotte, Jr. of CA., eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Vincent Lizotte, Gloria Battistello and Eileen Kelly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11 am in the First Baptist Church, 118 South Main St., Attleboro. In honor of Pat, please feel free to wear bright spring colors to her service.
