Obituary

Mikayla Marie "Miki" Whalley, 17, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from complications of diabetes.

Mikayla was born in Taunton; the daughter of Stephanie Collins and Jordan Whalley and his wife Tarah, with whom she lived. Miki was a senior at Taunton High School where she excelled in academics. She was taking college courses, and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Latin club. Mikayla participated in the youth groups and activities with the Liberty Christian Church and the Falmouth Baptist Church. She was quite the artist, and loved to color and draw.

Survivors besides her parents are two brothers; Dominic Zahar of Taunton, Paxton Whalley of Taunton, one sister; Alyssa Collins of Taunton, grandparents; Julie and Michael Fiore of Taunton, Mary and Ron Vieira of Raynham, Patrick Whalley of Palm Springs, CA, Eileen Collins of Taunton, and Robert Collins of Falmouth, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, at 11am, in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, Taunton. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling Hours for Mikayla will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 4-7pm, in the funeral home.
