Mary (Silvia) Wrobleski, 94, of Somerset, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019, at home after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Walter T. Wrobleski.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Melo) Silvia, she lived most of her life in Somerset where she was a communicant of St. John of God Church.
Mary had worked as a seamstress at various area clothing manufacturers as well as in the landscaping business. She enjoyed embroidery, doing puzzles with her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, William Wrobleski and his wife Louise of Tamworth, NH, Paulette Carvalho and her companion William Altieri of Taunton and Diane Magan and her husband Paul of Rehoboth; two sisters, Evelyn Pavao and Emma Mullaly both of Somerset; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wrobleski was the sister of the late Charles and Alvin "Peter" Silvia.
In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019, at 11am, in St. John of God Church, Somerset. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours are omitted.
