Mark Anthony Volner, 57 years old, died in his home, in Taunton, May 1, 2018.
He was born in Blackhawk Iowa, son of the late Bobby Ray and Louise(Dion) Volner. Mark was a member of the class of 1979 from Taunton High School. He served proudly in the Massachusetts National Guard. He was a welder for Clemmey Tank, Crown Tank and for the last 8 years he was a welder at Aggregate Industries. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a former football coach at Taunton High and was a winning Pop Warner Football coach having won a Super Bowl. On Sept 17, 1987, he was the Golden Gloves boxing champion having won his title at the former Roseland. Mark enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is father of Ashley Volner and her fiancé Jared Dumont of East Taunton and Mark A. Volner,Jr of Raynham. He is the former husband of Serafina "Sara" Volner of Raynham. Mark is the brother of Toni Amaral and her husband Barry, Regina Spencer and her husband Robert, and Bobby Rae Volner all of Taunton. He is the grandfather of Jaylynne, Mark, III and Avery and the uncle and great uncle of several.
