Obituary

Marilyn A. Fisk, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Marilyn was born in Attleboro and was a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Blake) Fisk.

Marilyn worked as a secretary at Swank Manufacturing for many years until her retirement. Marilyn was always active in her church, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, in Seekonk, where she was a member of the Women's Guild and organized many fundraisers, including bake sales and the annual Christmas Bazaar. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. Marilyn enjoyed the simplicities in life and was extremely dedicated to her faith and her extended family.

She is survived by her brother, Charles L. Fisk, many nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Catherine Fisk, Edward M. Fisk, James Fisk and Winifred Fisk.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 9am, from the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial, at 10am, in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Dr., Seekonk. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Burial will follow in Seekonk Cemetery, Seekonk.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018, from 4-7pm, in the funeral home.
