Lucille M. (Melancon) Boudreau

Lucille M. (Melancon) Boudreau, 95, of Taunton, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Marian Manor. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Boudreau.

She was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late David J. and Marie A. (Gregoire) Melancon. A devoted Catholic, Lucille was a longtime member of the former St. Anne's Parish, in Fall River, as well as, a member of the Ladies Sodality there. Lucille was employed at the former Har-Lee Manufacturing, in Fall River. She will perhaps best be remembered for her role as a sales clerk at the former Globe Department Store in Fall River for 35 years.

Lucille is survived by a son, Henry J. Boudreau, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Bridgewater; and two grandchildren, Kyle Boudreau of Medford and Matthew Boudreau of Boston. Lucille was the sister of the late Paul L. Melancon, Andre Melancon, David Melancon, Theophile Melancon and the late Agnes H. Boudreau. She was also a favorite Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 9 AM, from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River, followed by a 10 AM by a Mass of Christian burial in the Parish of the Holy Trinity, 951 Stafford Road, Fall River. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
